Emmelie
A Glimpse of Emmelie
This my webpage. 2007 began with a bang as I celebrated my 8th birthday at Getty Town in Louisville, KY. You might ask....why was I in Kentucky? Well, we traveled to Louisville, KY to visit my Uncle Emmanue and Auntie AJ and welcome Baby Chris to the world! We also visited my Dad's family in Lexington, KY. We spent a lot of time with Cousin Jade. It was a blast! We also had a family reunion on my mom's side of the family. My cousin Jay and his dad, Uncle Shionel came all the way from the Philippines. My cousins Erika and Katy drove from Maryland. WOW! That was pretty amazing. We roasted a whole pig. If that wasn't enough, Mommy, Auntie Marie, Uncle Paul and Uncle Emmanuel saw their childhood friends in Indiana. We were on a 500-acre farm. And we went on an old-fashioned hayride. When spring break came, I was ready for another trip. Mommy and Daddy took Xavier and I on a road trip to the Sequoia/Kings Canyon National Forest, Death Valley and Las Vegas. What a fun trip. I saw the largest tree in the world - General Sherman, and we toured Scotty's Castle in Death Valley and the highlight of Las Vegas was the Hoover Dam Tour and enjoying Adventure Dome in Circus Circus. It has been a fantastic year so far. I also discovered more "girly" stuff when my mom played with my hair...curling it and straightening it. I decided I love it when my hair is straightened! You might wonder....how could it get better? Stay tuned for future updates!
